The Indianapolis Motor Speedway became the Racing Capital of the World through more than a century of unparalleled racing history, but it’s the remarkable one-of-a-kind stories from racing participants and fans alike that bind everyone who has experienced an event at the world’s greatest racecourse.
As anticipation builds for the 2014 IMS racing season beginning with the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday, May 10, and the 98th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race on Sunday, May 25, IMS has introduced a unique opportunity for everyone to tell their stories and share their unforgettable IMS experiences via a campaign called “We All Have A Story.”
MSK Advertising in Indianapolis created a thirty-second television spot to promote this new campaign, which reminds everyone of the special way that friends, family and racing come together at IMS. If you watched NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics, you probably saw this spot several times during the final week of the broadcast.
Earshot Audio-Post composer Mina Keohane created the original score for the spot that captures the emotionally driven images and supports the magical effect that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has had on the racing world for more than a century. Earshot’s Rick Such engineered the music mix session, while Brice Bowman provided sound design and the final mix.
While Earshot handled audio duties, an outstanding team pulled together the visual and creative elements, including creative directors Peter Kim and Dawn Debellis; art directors Noah Gregg and Lamont Chandler; copywriters Peter Kim and Ted Xistris; editor Will Wertz. Graphics and color correction were handled by Carl Wurtz at Scofield Editorial.
